40-Bed Health Facility Begins Operations in Kedarnath Dham, CM Dhami Inaugurates BPCL Hospital

Rudraprayag: Amid the ongoing Char Dham Yatra, a new 40-bed medical facility has been started in Kedarnath Dham to strengthen healthcare services in the region. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the facility on Thursday.

With the launch of this health center, pilgrims visiting Kedarnath and local residents will be able to access improved medical care during emergencies. The hospital has been equipped with arrangements for primary treatment as well as essential healthcare services.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government is committed to making the Char Dham Yatra safe, well-organized, and pilgrim-friendly. He added that strengthening healthcare services in high-altitude areas is among the government’s top priorities.

He stated that a large number of devotees visit Kedarnath during the pilgrimage season, making timely treatment and healthcare services extremely important. With this objective, health infrastructure is being continuously expanded.

The government is also consistently strengthening facilities related to healthcare, drinking water, roads, and disaster management along the Char Dham Yatra routes to ensure that pilgrims do not face any inconvenience.
