6 HAS Officers Transferred in Himachal; Raman Gharsangi Posted at Chamba Medical College

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday issued orders for the posting and transfer of six Himachal Administrative Service (HAS) officers. The transfer orders were issued by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta as part of routine administrative reshuffle.

Raman Gharsangi Posted as Additional Director, Chamba Medical College

Raman Gharsangi, a 2017 batch HAS officer who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Additional Director at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Chamba.
In addition to this role, he will also hold the additional charge of Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner (AC to DC), Chamba, during the leave period of Aprajita Chandel, who is currently serving as AC to DC Chamba.

Vikas Jamwal Appointed RTO Kangra

Vikas Jamwal, a 2019 batch HAS officer, has been transferred from his position as Land Acquisition Officer, Beas Dam Project, Raja Ka Talab, and appointed as the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Kangra.

Keshav Ram Asked to Report to Secretariat

Keshav Ram, a 2022 batch HAS officer presently serving as Joint Director, Chamba Medical College, has been directed to report to the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat for further posting.

Ramesh Verma Appointed Joint Commissioner, Palampur

Ramesh Verma, a 2024 batch HAS officer who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Joint Commissioner, Palampur Municipal Corporation.

Dr Om Prakash Yadav Posted as SDM Palampur

Dr Om Prakash Yadav, also a 2024 batch HAS officer, has been transferred from his role as AC to DC, Kinnaur, and appointed Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Palampur.
With this appointment, IAS Meta Netra has been relieved of the additional charge of Commissioner, Palampur Municipal Corporation.

Kalyani Gupta Appointed GM, Smart City Shimla

Kalyani Gupta, a 2025 batch HAS officer currently serving as Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project, Keylong, has been appointed General Manager (Administration/Project), Smart City Shimla.
