Dehradun: The “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign, launched by the Uttarakhand government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has emerged as a powerful and effective means of addressing public concerns at the grassroots level in the state. This campaign is establishing new standards of service, participation, and trust by fostering direct communication between the government and ordinary citizens.
Under this campaign, public welfare camps are being continuously organized across the state, providing citizens with direct access to government schemes and services right in their own localities.
As of today, a total of 16 camps were organized in the state, through which 6,820 citizens directly benefited from the services. This figure is proof that the government’s schemes are no longer confined to paper but are being effectively implemented at the ground level.
To date, a total of 541 camps have been successfully organized in the state, through which government services, solutions, and benefits have reached 4,28,183 citizens. This achievement realizes Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s vision of the government reaching out to the people’s doorsteps to address their problems.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said:
“Our government’s objective is not just to formulate schemes, but to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach every eligible person. The ‘Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep’ campaign is a living example of this philosophy.”
Through this campaign, not only are public problems being resolved quickly, but public participation in the governance system is also steadily increasing. This campaign is becoming a strong foundation for good governance in Uttarakhand, promoting transparency, accountability, and a responsive administration.
The “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has become a symbol of trust, development, and public welfare in the state.
