CM Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Virat Hindu Sammelan, emphasizing Hindu unity and cultural pride

Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Virat Hindu Sammelan held in Balawala, Dehradun on Sunday. He said that this is not just a conference, but a grand festival of Hindu society’s consciousness, unity, and self-respect.

The Chief Minister said that today, the Hindu society is awakened, dedicated, and organized, striving to restore the ancient glory of its religion, culture, and nation. He explained that such Virat Hindu Sammelans are being organized across the country to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

He said that it is a matter of pride for him to be associated with the world’s largest volunteer organization. Over the past 100 years, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has worked to revive the country’s cultural values ​​and instill a sense of patriotism among the people. Volunteers have selflessly contributed in various fields, including education, agriculture, rural development, social welfare, women’s empowerment, tribal upliftment, service, arts, and science.

The Chief Minister said that India is a diverse country, with many differences based on language, culture, caste, and region. However, the Sangh has always strengthened unity amidst all this. He said that despite these differences, our core human values ​​are the same, and this is the broad essence of Hindutva.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to preserving the original form of the land of Gods. Through strict anti-conversion laws, anti-riot laws, and measures like “Operation Kalanemi,” action is being taken against those who defame Sanatan Dharma. He said that equal rights have been ensured by implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the first in the country. Furthermore, while working towards a uniform education system in the state, the Madrasa Board has been abolished and research on Sanatan culture is being encouraged by establishing “Hindu Study Centers.”

On this occasion, a large number of people including MLA Brij Bhushan Gairola, Councilor Prashant Kharola, Brahmachari Keshar Swaroop, Lalit Budhakoti, Subhash Bardhwal, Gopal Singh were present.
