Khatima. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took another step toward promoting public health in his home constituency Khatima by inaugurating an open gym established in the Lohiyahead area. The gym has been set up with the support of a private company, providing local youth and residents with facilities to exercise in the open air.
After the inauguration, the Chief Minister personally used the gym equipment to review the arrangements. He then inaugurated the annual sports समारोह of a private nursing college at a nearby sports ground. During the event, he also played cricket to encourage the youth.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that along with education, sports are an essential part of life. Sports not only strengthen individuals physically but also develop discipline, self-confidence, and team spirit. He urged the youth to set clear goals and strive continuously to achieve them.
He also mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sports and fitness have received promotion at the national level, creating new opportunities for young people. The state government is also continuously working to expand sports facilities and generate employment opportunities for the youth.
Public representatives, administrative officers, representatives of educational institutions, and a large number of students were present at the program. The Chief Minister appealed to residents to adopt a healthy lifestyle and make regular exercise a part of their daily routine.
