No shortage of petrol, diesel, or gas in Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

Gairsain: Amid international tensions and reports of conflicts, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has clarified the situation regarding rumors about a shortage of petrol, diesel, and gas in the state. He said there is no shortage of petroleum products or gas in Uttarakhand and people should not panic.

In fact, due to rising tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States, various discussions have been circulating in several parts of the country regarding the supply of gas cylinders and petroleum products. In some places, reports have emerged of gas cylinder shortages and long queues outside gas agencies, which has created concern among people.

However, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uttarakhand has sufficient stock of petrol, diesel, and gas, and the supply system is completely normal. He said the government is constantly monitoring the situation and officials have been clearly instructed to ensure that there is no black marketing of petrol, diesel, or gas anywhere.

The Chief Minister said that if any complaint is received about black marketing or artificial shortages of petroleum products, strict action will be taken against those responsible. He added that district administrations have been instructed to remain alert, and teams from the concerned departments are continuously monitoring the market situation.

He said that many times international developments lead to rumors in the market, but in such situations people should act with patience and understanding. The government’s priority is to ensure that the general public does not face any inconvenience and that the availability of essential commodities remains normal.

The Chief Minister also said that if any individual or group deliberately tries to spread rumors, strict action will be taken against them. The administration is closely monitoring misleading information spreading through social media and other platforms.

He appealed to the people of the state not to pay attention to rumors and not to panic-buy gas cylinders or petrol unnecessarily. He assured that the supply of petroleum products in the state is continuing smoothly and there is no reason for concern.
