Dehradun: In an important organizational meeting of the BJP, the party’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh called upon party workers to begin preparations for the upcoming elections with the mantra “Win the booth, win the election.”
After a long time, the state in-charge and National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam visited Dehradun and congratulated Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for completing four years in office, becoming the first BJP Chief Minister in the state to do so. He said Dhami is working towards the development of Uttarakhand in line with the dreams of the statehood movement activists.
The meeting was held at a private institute in Kuanwala, Dehradun, and was attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state in-charge Dushyant Gautam, state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, along with MPs, MLAs, former MLAs and several party officials.
Emphasis on strengthening the booth level
While addressing the gathering as the chief speaker, Tarun Chugh said that a party training campaign is being conducted across the country, including Uttarakhand, with special focus on strengthening the organization at the booth level.
He said that with the 2027 Assembly elections in mind, the goal of every party worker should be clear: “Win the booth, win the election.” He added that the responsibility of making the party strong and enduring lies with the workers.
He also informed that active and capable BLA-1 and BLA-2 (Booth Level Agents) have been assigned responsibilities to strengthen the organization from an electoral perspective. In Uttarakhand, 100 percent of BLA-1 appointments have already been completed and the appointment of all BLA-2 will be finalized soon.
Uttarakhand moving forward under Dhami’s leadership
State in-charge Dushyant Gautam congratulated Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing four years in office and said that under his leadership the state is progressing in line with the aspirations of the Uttarakhand statehood movement.
He said Dhami is winning the trust of the people and working with full commitment to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making this “the decade of Uttarakhand.” Despite facing natural disasters, the state is moving forward and contributing to the mission of a developed India.
Attack on the opposition
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the people stand with the BJP’s nationalist and cultural ideology and trust the work of the double-engine government at the Centre and the state.
He criticized the opposition, saying that those who were responsible for imposing the Emergency and harming democratic values are now questioning constitutional institutions. He added that election results clearly show that people are rejecting the politics of lies and confusion.
Claim of forming government for the third time
Former state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt said that public mandate holds great importance in democracy and that both organizational strength and election strategy are crucial. He expressed confidence that with the strength of party workers, the BJP will form the government in the state for the third consecutive time.
