CM Dhami Reviews Preparations for Kumbh Mela 2027 in Haridwar

Haridwar: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the preparations for the Kumbh Mela 2027 during his visit to Haridwar.

During a review meeting held at Damkothi, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete all arrangements in a time-bound manner to ensure the grand and well-organized conduct of the Kumbh Mela.

Dhami said that no shortcomings should remain at any level in the arrangements for such a massive religious gathering.

He also assured that there will be no shortage of funds for projects related to the Kumbh Mela and that necessary approvals will be issued promptly.

The Chief Minister reviewed works related to roads, bridges, drinking water supply, healthcare, traffic management and parking facilities, and instructed officials to ensure quality and timely completion.

He also directed authorities to establish a modern Integrated Control and Command Centre equipped with advanced technology for security management.

Mela Officer Sonika informed that 33 permanent projects related to infrastructure and fair management are currently under construction.

Improvement plans for routes leading to Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple have also been approved.
