Relief from traffic jams in Lohaghat: CM approves ₹11.476 million installment for multi-level parking

Dehradun: The state government has taken a major step to address traffic congestion in Lohaghat town of Champawat district. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the release of the second installment of ₹11.476 million for the construction of a proposed multi-level parking facility.

Due to the increasing number of vehicles and limited parking space, traffic jams frequently occur in the market area of Lohaghat. To resolve this issue, a multi-level parking project has been planned.

With the release of the second installment, construction work is expected to accelerate. Once completed, the project will streamline traffic in the main market area and provide significant convenience to both local residents and visiting tourists.

Local residents believe that the construction of the parking facility will reduce roadside parking and significantly ease traffic congestion.
