CM attends Mann Ki Baat, says Uttarakhand gained global recognition through the Prime Minister

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the 132nd episode of Mann Ki Baat in Indranagar, Dehradun, along with public representatives and local residents. On this occasion, he described the program as an effective and inspiring platform for public dialogue.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established a new tradition of direct communication with citizens through programs like Mann Ki Baat. He noted that it is among the longest-running inspirational communication programs conducted by any head of state in the world, connecting people from all sections of society.

He added that the Prime Minister mentions Uttarakhand in almost every address, which is helping the state gain a new identity at both national and international levels. The Prime Minister has also personally visited several religious and tourist destinations in the state, including Adi Kailash and Harsil-Mukhba.

The Chief Minister said that these visits and mentions have had a positive impact on the state’s tourism sector. Winter tourism, in particular, has seen unprecedented growth, strengthening the local economy and creating new employment opportunities.

He further stated that the state government is continuously working to develop Uttarakhand as a year-round tourism destination. Special focus is being given to promoting tourism activities, strengthening infrastructure, and developing new tourist spots.

During the program, public representatives and citizens also shared their views, describing Mann Ki Baat as inspiring. The Chief Minister said such programs spread positive energy in society and provide a new direction to the nation.
