Champawat: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, for the overall development of Champawat district, announced many important schemes and projects. He said that the state government is continuously working with the target of developing Champawat as an “ideal district,” so that the benefit of development reaches the last person of society.
The Chief Minister announced construction of Type-3 and Type-4 residential complexes for training in the district, construction of Chief Medical Officer office building, establishment of District Early Intervention Center and District दिव्यांग (disabled) Rehabilitation Center. Along with this, approval of ₹2 crore was also provided to give beekeeping training to about 1000 families.
Apart from this, tarring and improvement of about 2 kilometer road from Monpokhri to Nid, construction of about 5 kilometer motor road and bridge on Amodi–Chatkot bypass, installation of 50 hand pumps in the district, and plan to make internal tiled road in Palso area panchayat were also announced. Arrangement of installing solar lights will also be done in villages of Gram Shaktipur Bunga area.
The Chief Minister also announced beautification of various fair places including Byandhura Baba Temple, construction of Ramleela stage near Nagnath Temple, and making building and commercial complex in Champawat. Along with this, link road from Dhakna-Badola to Serola, road construction from Banlekh to Hingla Devi Temple, revival of Purvanchal Agro Sanskrit School, and plan to build Jal Bhawan for Jal Sansthan office were also presented.
Additionally, interlocking tiles work in Maneshwar–Chaida Rajpur road and connected routes, establishment of solar lift drinking water and irrigation schemes at 20 places, and implementation of ₹5 crore collective fencing scheme for protection of crops from wild animals were announced.
The Chief Minister also announced construction of two valley bridges on Amodi–Sipti motor road, development of playground in Kharkarki area, renovation of Vikas Bhawan Champawat in Kumaoni style, and construction of road from Gram Sabha Naghan to Dodeshwar Temple.
He directed officials that all announcements should be completed in a time-bound and quality manner so that people of the district get benefit of these schemes as soon as possible.
Many public representatives, officials, ex-servicemen, war widows, and a large number of local people were present in the program.
