Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with officials regarding the law and order situation in the capital, Dehradun, and issued strict instructions. He clearly stated that there would be no compromise on law and order in the state and that strict action must be ensured against criminals.
The Chief Minister warned police and administrative officials that maintaining law and order is the government’s top priority. Negligence at any level will not be tolerated. He said that criminals will not be spared under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against them.
He directed officials to promptly register cases in all criminal matters, avoid unnecessary delays in investigations, and ensure strict action against offenders. He also instructed the police to increase night patrolling and strengthen security arrangements.
He further said that the police and administration should behave sensitively and responsibly with the general public. Citizens should not face unnecessary inconvenience, and every complaint should be addressed promptly.
It is noteworthy that concerns over law and order have increased following the recent murder of a retired military officer in Dehradun. In view of this, the Chief Minister has issued strict directives to officials.
