Big gift by CM Dhami on Champawat visit, inauguration-foundation of schemes worth ₹36.82 crore, unveiled 100 feet tricolor

Champawat: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami during Champawat visit on Tuesday gave many development schemes to the district. He did inauguration and foundation laying of various development schemes to be built at cost of about ₹36.82 crore. Along with this, he also unveiled 100 feet high pride tricolor installed at Champawat headquarters.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation of total 17 development schemes. During the program, he also did on-site inspection of under-construction modern Science Center and took information about progress of construction work from officials.

The Chief Minister told that this Science Center being prepared with cost of about ₹55.52 crore will play an important role in promoting science, research and innovation in the state. During inspection, he reviewed quality and timeliness of construction works and gave necessary directions to concerned officials. He also observed proposed four-storey science campus and modern scientific galleries.

Modern facilities will be available in Science Center

In the under-construction Science Center, many modern facilities are being developed for students and researchers. Here hostel for 40 students, staff quarters, fun science gallery, science and agriculture gallery, training hall, exhibition room, ultra-modern astronomy gallery, 120-seat auditorium and 71-seat modern planetarium are being built.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also interacted with young scientists and inspired them to move forward in the field of science and research. He said that this Science Center will become an important center of education, research and innovation for students of the state in future. From this, children of remote areas will also get opportunity to connect with modern science and astronomy.

The Chief Minister instructed agencies related to construction work that the project should be completed within fixed time limit with high quality and special care should also be taken of environmental standards and safety of workers.

Many public representatives and officials including District Panchayat President Anand Singh Adhikari, State Minister rank Shyam Narayan Pandey, BJP District President Govind Singh Samant, Municipality President Prema Pandey, Block Chief Anchala Bohra, District Magistrate Manish Kumar, Superintendent of Police Rekha Yadav were present.
