Dehradun: Once again a major administrative reshuffle has been done in the Uttarakhand Police Department. The police headquarters has transferred 15 DSP and CO level officers and assigned them new responsibilities. These include 10 officers who have been given new postings after recent promotions, while 5 officers have been transferred.
Recently, many officers were promoted from Inspector to DSP rank in the police department. After promotion, they have now been given new responsibilities in different districts.
New postings after promotion:
DSP Chandra Mohan has been sent from Haridwar to Tehri Garhwal.
DSP Bhawna Kanthola has been posted from Uttarkashi to Almora.
DSP Hoshiyar Singh has been sent from Pauri Garhwal to PTC Narendra Nagar.
DSP Chanchal Sharma has been transferred from Vigilance Cell High Court Nainital to Uttarkashi.
Other officers given new responsibilities:
DSP Anjana Negi has been sent from Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission Dehradun to Nainital.
DSP Umesh Malik has been posted from Nainital to Pithoragarh.
DSP Santosh Kumar has been sent from Regional Department Haldwani to Notification Headquarters.
DSP Ved Prakash has been transferred from Nainital to Rudraprayag.
DSP Sanjay Kumar Upreti has been sent from Dehradun to SDRF.
DSP Devendra Singh has been posted from Pauri Garhwal to Champawat.
Transfers at CO level:
CO Anuj has been sent from Dehradun to GRP Haridwar.
CO Anuj Kumar has been posted from Pauri Garhwal to Dehradun.
CO Reena Rathore has been transferred from Dehradun to IRB Second Dehradun.
CO Vimal Prasad has been sent from Almora to Champawat.
CO Nitin Lohani has been transferred from CID Sector Haldwani to Dehradun.
It is noteworthy that earlier on Wednesday night, the SSP of Dehradun had also transferred 30 police officers and personnel. These continuous transfers are being considered an important step towards strengthening administrative arrangements in the police department.
