Chief Minister Dhami addressed constables undergoing training at Police Line Dehradun

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday addressed police constables undergoing training at Police Line Dehradun. During this, he encouraged the young constables and emphasized strengthening the law and order of the state, playing an active role in disaster management, and maintaining smooth traffic arrangements.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is a hilly state where situations of natural disasters arise from time to time. In such circumstances, the role of police personnel is extremely important. Therefore, it is necessary for all police personnel to be proficient in training related to disaster management so that effective relief and rescue work can be carried out during disasters.

He also emphasized maintaining better coordination between police and the public to keep law and order efficient. The Chief Minister said that for crime control, police personnel should discharge their duties with alertness and sensitivity.

Chief Minister Dhami stressed the use of modern technologies to make traffic management effective and said that considering the increasing traffic, systems need to be further strengthened. At the same time, police personnel should work with full readiness to ensure the safety of passengers.
