Diploma Engineers Federation meets CM Dhami, seeks resolution of demands

Dehradun: Amid the ongoing strike by diploma engineers in Uttarakhand, office bearers of the Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence and held detailed discussions regarding their demands.

The delegation submitted a 27-point demand letter, which included key issues such as promotions, pay scale, and restoration of the old pension scheme. The Chief Minister listened to all demands seriously and assured a positive approach toward their resolution.

CM Dhami said that a sub-committee will be formed to examine all the points in detail and submit a report जल्द. He emphasized that the state government is committed to resolving issues through dialogue and coordination.

Highlighting public interest as the top priority, the Chief Minister said that all parties must adopt a cooperative approach to ensure that development works are not affected. He also appealed to the federation to actively participate in the dialogue process so that a solution can be reached जल्द.

He added that the state government is fully sensitive to the concerns of diploma engineers and will consider their demands positively.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Dilip Jawalkar, Pankaj Kumar Pandey, and other officials.
