Dehradun: Preparations have intensified for the proposed Uttarakhand visit of Narendra Modi. In this regard, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan and DGP Deepam Seth, along with senior officials, conducted an on-site inspection of the program venue.
Officials reviewed arrangements from Dat Kali Temple to Mahindra Ground and Garhi Cantt. The Chief Secretary directed that security arrangements be made completely foolproof. He also instructed officials to prepare a robust traffic plan to ensure smooth movement in the city during the PM’s visit.
While speaking to the media, the Chief Secretary said that the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway will reduce both travel time and distance between Delhi-NCR and Dehradun. This will boost tourism, improve connectivity for the Char Dham Yatra, and accelerate economic activities in the state.
During the inspection, the Chief Secretary also offered prayers at Dat Kali Temple for the prosperity of the state. The inspection was attended by Secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, District Magistrate Savin Bansal, SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal, Municipal Commissioner Namami Bansal, and other officials.
