Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has once again carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring IAS and PCS officers. Under this move, responsibilities have been withdrawn from several officers, while many have been given new postings.
Among IAS officers, Anand Swaroop has been relieved of the charge of Food Commissioner. Ruchi Mohan has been relieved from the post of Additional Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Prakash Chandra has been divested of the role of Joint Chief Electoral Officer, while Vanshilal Rana has been given the additional charge of Food Commissioner.
As part of the reshuffle, Gauri Prabhav has been transferred from Joint Magistrate, Ranikhet to Pauri, while Dikshita Joshi has been moved from Pauri to Ranikhet.
Significant changes have also been made among PCS officers. Narendra Singh has been relieved of his responsibilities as Registrar of Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala. Shivkumar Barnwal has been appointed as the new Registrar, and he has been relieved from his earlier post as Secretary of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
Prakash Chandra has been appointed as Joint Chief Electoral Officer, while Nandan Singh Dugariyal has been assigned the responsibility of Secretary, Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Avdhesh Kumar has been removed from the post of Additional District Magistrate, Tehri, and appointed as Joint Director in the Urban Development Directorate, Dehradun.
Shailendra Singh has been appointed as the new Additional District Magistrate of Tehri, while Vaibhav Gupta has been given the responsibility of Additional District Magistrate in Haridwar. Saurabh Aswal has been appointed as Additional District Magistrate in Nainital along with the additional charge of Competent Authority (Land Acquisition).
Apart from this, several other officers including Manish Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Lakshmiraj Chauhan, and Kusham Chauhan have also seen changes in their postings. Transfers of several Deputy Collectors have also been carried out, including Anurag Arya, Ravindra Kumar Juwantha, Premlal, Yashveer Singh, Mukesh Chandra Ramola, Vipin Chandra Pant, Sunil Kumar, Pankaj Bhatt, Alkesh Naudiyal, Krishna Tripathi, and Ankit Raj.
The government’s decision is expected to make administrative functioning more effective across various districts and departments.
