One-day special session to be held in Dehradun tomorrow, Speaker held a meeting regarding preparations, DGP and Chief Secretary were present

Dehradun. With the objective of ensuring the smooth, secure and successful conduct of the one-day special session “Women’s Dignity Rights in Democracy” to be held on 28 April under the year 2026 of the Fifth Uttarakhand Assembly, a security meeting was organized in the Assembly building located in Dehradun. The meeting was chaired by Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on all necessary arrangements including law and order, VIP and visitor management, traffic system, parking, fire safety, health services, drinking water, cleanliness, electricity supply, communication system and media management during the special session. The Honorable Speaker directed the officials that all preparations should be completed in a time-bound and responsible manner so that there is no disorder of any kind during the session.

The Assembly Speaker instructed all concerned departments to work in coordination with each other so that all arrangements during the session can be conducted smoothly and systematically. The Speaker directed that all departments should maintain security, peace and order during the session while working in coordination and should not allow any kind of inconvenience. She said that with the cooperation of all concerned departments, this special session will be conducted successfully and in a dignified manner.

Dobal, SSP Dehradun, Neeraj Kumar Mishra, SP Intelligence, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, CMO Dehradun, Bhaskar Singh Kulal, Director ITDA, Engineer Rajiv Saini, SE Jal Sansthan, Pankaj Badola, EE PWD, Ritesh Pandey, Reliance Jio Chief Coordinator, Virendra Dogra, EE Raipur, Krishna Kumar Mishra, ADM Dehradun and Ravi Shankar Singh, Head ITBP were present. From the Assembly Secretariat, Hem Chandra Pant, In-charge Secretary and Lalit Joshi, Marshal were present.
