CM Dhami reviews several Assembly constituencies of Garhwal division; expresses displeasure over delays in development works, sets deadline of June 15

Dehradun: Taking a strict stance on development projects in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the progress of various departmental projects during a meeting and directed officials to complete the work within stipulated timelines.

The Chief Minister clearly stated that unnecessary delays in projects will no longer be tolerated. He instructed that all pending government orders (GOs) must be issued by June 15, 2026, under any circumstances. Officials were also directed to set clear timelines for all works and ensure their effective implementation at the ground level.

Emphasizing transparency and quality, the CM said that the benefits of development schemes should directly reach the general public. For this, better coordination between departments and regular monitoring are essential.

Issuing a warning, he said that strict action will be taken against officials if any negligence or laxity is found at any level. He instructed all departments to continuously review the progress of schemes to ensure completion within the set deadlines.

The government’s stance clearly indicates a strong focus on accelerating development works and ensuring accountability.
