Dehradun: During a review of development works and government schemes in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was seen taking a strict stance. When preparations by several departments were found below expectations, he strongly reprimanded the officials.
The Chief Minister clearly stated that any negligence in public welfare work will not be tolerated. He directed officials to complete all schemes and projects within the stipulated time frame while maintaining quality.
During the review, he expressed displeasure over slow progress in certain works and warned the responsible officials. He emphasized that the government’s priority is to provide better facilities to the public, and all departments must work with seriousness and responsibility.
He also stressed regular monitoring, field inspections, and better coordination among departments. He said that issues should be resolved on time so that the benefits of schemes can reach the public directly.
He firmly stated that strict action would be taken against officials who fail to properly discharge their duties. He also instructed that ongoing development works in the state be accelerated.
