Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has announced the final results of the Uttarakhand Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2024. Based on the main examination, interviews, physical standards tests, and medical examinations, the commission has released the list of successful candidates selected for various government posts.
Jasmeet Kaur secured the first rank in the examination and topped the selection list for the post of Deputy Collector.
A total of nine candidates were selected for Deputy Collector positions. Besides Jasmeet Kaur, the selected candidates include Varsha Joshi, Ashutosh Nautiyal, Amit Chandra Dwivedi, Meenakshi Bhatia, Faraz Miyan, Viral Sharma, Ujjwal Dalakoti, and Kajal Saini.
Selections have also been made for 10 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) posts, 5 District Commandant Home Guards posts, and 1 Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) post. In the Education Department, candidates have been selected for a total of 58 positions, including Deputy Education Officer, Staff Officer, and Law Officer.
The Taxation Department has selected candidates for 16 Assistant Commissioner (State Tax) positions and 53 State Tax Officer posts. In addition, appointments will be made to 14 Finance Officer posts, 7 Assistant Municipal Commissioner posts, 6 District Village Industries Officer posts, and several other key positions.
According to UKPSC, interviews were conducted in March and April 2026 following the revised main examination results. The final merit list was prepared based on overall performance across all stages and the candidates’ service preferences.
The declaration of results for one of Uttarakhand’s most prestigious competitive examinations has brought joy to successful candidates and their families. The recruitment of a large number of new officers is also expected to strengthen the state’s administrative machinery.
