Farmers Alerted: Delay in Agri Stack Registration May Affect PM-Kisan and Other Benefits

Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has directed officials to accelerate Agri Stack and farmer registration work across the state, warning that delays could affect farmers’ access to schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and fertilizer distribution programs.

During a video conference review meeting with district magistrates, he emphasized that the campaign should be treated as a top priority.

Expressing concern over the slow pace of land-share determination work in Dehradun, Bageshwar, Nainital, and Haridwar districts, he instructed district administrations to take a more proactive role and organize special registration camps.

The Chief Secretary also reviewed the progress of the Digital Crop Survey and suggested utilizing self-help groups, youth organizations, and students from higher educational institutions to address manpower shortages after providing them with appropriate training.

He described Agri Stack as the foundation of future agricultural planning and warned that delays could hinder the delivery of several central government schemes to farmers.
