CM Dhami Launches Audio Version of “Meri Yojana” Book

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami unveiled the audio version of the “Meri Yojana” publication prepared by the Programme Implementation Department at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister said that compiling welfare schemes from various departments on a single platform would make information more accessible to citizens.

Information Made Easier to Access

The publication includes details of central and state government welfare schemes, including:

  • Self-employment initiatives
  • Skill development programs
  • Educational schemes
  • Other public welfare programs

Information regarding eligibility, benefits, and application procedures has been presented in a simple and user-friendly manner.

CM Dhami directed officials to continue introducing innovations to ensure welfare schemes reach the last person in society. He also instructed departments to issue government orders in language that is easier for ordinary citizens to understand.

Focus on Development and Self-Employment

The Chief Minister said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is achieving new milestones in development and moving rapidly toward the goal of a developed nation.

He highlighted improvements in:

  • Road connectivity
  • Rail infrastructure
  • Air connectivity
  • Healthcare services
  • Educational facilities
  • Basic infrastructure development

According to him, Uttarakhand has benefited significantly from central government support, enabling development to reach even remote areas.

He also noted that the state’s economy has strengthened under the “double-engine government” model, leading to continuous growth in per capita income.

Employment-oriented initiatives such as:

  • Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme
  • Mahak Kranti Scheme
  • Aroma Valley Project
  • Mission Apple

are creating new livelihood and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth and women.

Secretary Deepak Kumar informed that the audio version of “Meri Yojana” will be broadcast through radio platforms, including All India Radio, to reach a wider audience. He added that four editions of the publication have already been released and a digital version is also available.
