Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulating him on completing 12 years of leadership and becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history.
On behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes and praised the Prime Minister’s leadership in driving progress in development, governance, national security, cultural revival, and India’s global standing.
Welfare Schemes Transformed Millions of Lives
In his letter, CM Dhami highlighted several flagship welfare schemes, including:
- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
- Ayushman Bharat
- Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
- Jal Jeevan Mission
- Swachh Bharat Mission
- PM-KISAN
He stated that these initiatives have brought positive changes to the lives of millions of citizens across the country.
Major Reforms and National Initiatives
The Chief Minister also praised landmark initiatives such as:
- Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan
- Digital India
- National Education Policy 2020
- Goods and Services Tax
He noted that these reforms have provided a new direction to the country’s development and strengthened indigenous manufacturing, particularly in the defense sector.
CM Dhami also described India’s large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign and the Vaccine Maitri initiative as examples of global leadership.
Appreciation for Cultural and Heritage Projects
The Chief Minister commended the Prime Minister’s efforts in strengthening national security, honoring armed forces personnel, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting India’s spiritual and civilizational identity.
