Dehradun: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan conducted a high-level review meeting regarding preparations for the annual foundation day fair to be held on June 15 at Kainchi Dham.
He directed the police, district administration, Public Works Department, and other concerned agencies to ensure smooth arrangements for pilgrims.
Key directives included:
- Preparation of special traffic and route plans for the next ten days.
- Development of zonal and sectoral management plans.
- Wide publicity of parking arrangements and traffic routes within and outside the state.
- Completion of beautification and lighting works.
- Provision of drinking water, toilets, and other essential facilities.
- Operation of shuttle services between parking areas and the temple.
- Preparation of emergency evacuation plans.
- Deployment of adequate medical facilities and ambulances.
- Continuous coordination among stakeholders for crowd management.
Senior officials from Kumaon Division and Nainital district participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
