BJP is Invincible Due to the Dedication of Its Workers; Party Cells Must Take Government Achievements to Every Citizen: CM Dhami

Dehradun: Addressing an important meeting of various party cells at the state office of Bharatiya Janata Party, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the BJP has become an invincible political force because of the capability, experience, and dedication of its workers. He emphasized that party cells must play an active role in taking the government’s welfare schemes and achievements to every section of society and further strengthening the organization.

The Chief Minister said that the BJP is not merely a political party but an ideology committed to nation-building. He noted that cells working in areas such as healthcare, cooperatives, culture, business, tourism, sports, disaster management, and self-help groups serve as an important bridge between society and the organization. According to him, the BJP views politics as a medium of service rather than a means of power.

CM Dhami stated that BJP workers remain engaged in public service throughout the year, unlike other parties that become active only during elections. He highlighted the importance of the Disaster Management and Self-Help Group cells, particularly in a sensitive state like Uttarakhand.

He called upon Disaster Management Cell office-bearers to create teams of trained youth at the block level who can act as “first responders” during emergencies. He said people should have confidence that BJP workers stand with them in every crisis.

Addressing the Self-Help Group Cell, the Chief Minister noted that thousands of women in the state are becoming financially self-reliant through self-help groups. He urged party functionaries to connect more women with government schemes and accelerate the implementation of the Lakhpati Didi Campaign.

Emphasizing the role of the Tourism Cell, he said that efforts are being made to establish Uttarakhand as the world’s spiritual capital. He pointed out that the Char Dham Yatra is witnessing record pilgrim numbers and that tourist arrivals to Adi Kailash are also increasing. He stressed the need to make local youth aware of emerging opportunities in the tourism sector.

Criticizing the opposition, CM Dhami alleged that the Indian National Congress lacks policy, intent, and leadership. He highlighted decisions such as the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, anti-conversion legislation, and anti-encroachment measures, while accusing the opposition of engaging in appeasement politics and spreading misinformation.

He urged party workers to counter rumors and misinformation with facts and ensure that government achievements reach the people. BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt also addressed the gathering, describing party cells as a major organizational strength and calling for expansion down to the mandal level and stronger booth-level outreach.
