CM Receives Memorandum at Public Service Camp; Woman’s Request for Sewing Machine Approved Immediately

Dehradun: During the ‘Seva, Good Governance and Dedication – Government at Every Doorstep’ multi-purpose public service camp held in Sahaspur, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard public grievances and directed officials to ensure their prompt resolution. During the event, local resident Mrs. Babli Gupta submitted a memorandum requesting a sewing machine to start manufacturing jute bags.

Taking immediate cognizance of the request, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to provide the sewing machine without delay. Acting on his instructions, and under the coordination of Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister Banshidhar Tiwari, the sewing machine was delivered to Babli Gupta by the same evening.

With the sewing machine, Babli Gupta will now be able to begin a self-employment venture by producing jute bags, helping strengthen her livelihood. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the swift action, saying the government’s initiative had made it easier for her to earn a sustainable income.
