Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial sanctions amounting to a total of ₹3.18 crore for various development projects and construction works across different parts of the state. These approvals will accelerate projects related to power infrastructure, religious tourism, and local development.
The Chief Minister approved the release of the first instalment of ₹2 crore for the construction of an electricity substation at Pankhu in the Gangolihat Assembly constituency of Pithoragarh district, out of a total project cost of ₹5 crore.
In addition, financial approval of ₹25 lakh has been granted for the beautification of Maa Kadai Temple in Gram Panchayat Motyuraj, located in the Lohaghat Assembly constituency of Champawat district.
The Chief Minister has also approved ₹92.63 lakh for the implementation of various development and construction works in the Piran Kaliyar Nagar Panchayat of Haridwar district.
The government stated that these development works will improve local infrastructure, promote the development of religious sites, and provide better facilities to people living in the respective areas.
