Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the grand procession of Tapkeshwar Mahadev organized at Saharanpur Chowk on Wednesday. Along with Mahant Krishna Giri Maharaj, Mahant Digambar Bharat Giri Maharaj of Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple, and Tapkeshwar Seva Dal President Manoj Kumar Gupta, the Chief Minister performed rituals and prayers before formally flagging off the procession.
The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev for the prosperity, peace, and well-being of the people of the state. He said that the religious and cultural traditions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand are an invaluable heritage of the state. Such religious events strengthen faith, unity, and mutual harmony in society while also connecting the younger generation with their culture and traditions.
CM Dhami extended his best wishes to the saints, members of the organizing committee, and devotees associated with the procession. He said that the blessings of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev remain upon all the people of the state and that Uttarakhand continues to move forward on the path of progress and prosperity.
A large number of devotees participated in the procession and sought the blessings of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev.
