Dehradun: A delegation of saints led by Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad and Chairman of the Mansa Devi Temple Trust, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. During the meeting, the saints invited the Chief Minister to participate in the Sacred Chhari Yatra, which will commence from Bageshwar.
The religious and cultural significance of the Sacred Chhari Yatra was also discussed during the meeting. The saints explained that the pilgrimage is an important journey associated with the Sanatan tradition and Uttarakhand’s rich religious and cultural heritage. During the yatra, various ancient pilgrimage sites and Siddha Peethas across the state are visited.
Welcoming the representatives of the saint community, Chief Minister Dhami extended his best wishes for the successful organization of the Sacred Chhari Yatra. He said that such religious pilgrimages strengthen the state’s spiritual and cultural traditions while also promoting religious tourism.
