CM Dhami Meets Young Flying-Car Innovator Ravi Tamta, Directs Government Support

Dehradun: Young innovator and startup entrepreneur Ravi Tamta, who is developing a flying car, met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. During the meeting, he briefed the Chief Minister on the technological innovation behind the flying car, progress made so far, and his future plans.

Appreciating Ravi Tamta’s efforts, the Chief Minister said that the youth of Uttarakhand possess immense potential for talent and technological innovation. He assured that the government would provide all possible support to young innovators in turning their new ideas and technological experiments into reality.

The Chief Minister directed the Secretary, Industries, on the spot to provide the necessary government support to Ravi Tamta’s startup as per the applicable rules. He also directed officials to examine the possibility of extending benefits available under startup and industrial policies and to assist with the necessary procedures.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand’s youth are rapidly advancing in technology and innovation. Innovation in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, drones, electric mobility, and aerospace can create new employment opportunities while also giving a new direction to the state’s economy.

He said that there is considerable scope for the use of new technologies in a mountainous state. In the future, technology-driven transportation systems could play an important role in strengthening connectivity in remote areas. However, he emphasized that such projects must comply with all necessary technical, safety, and regulatory standards. The Chief Minister wished Ravi Tamta success with his project.
