Haldwani: BJP national president Nitin Nabin, while addressing the extended meeting of the party’s State Working Committee, targeted the Congress and praised the achievements of the Dhami government in Uttarakhand. He described the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state as a major achievement of the BJP government. He said that, along with expanding basic amenities such as roads, electricity and water, rapid progress has been made on the Delhi-Dehradun route and the Char Dham projects.
Recalling former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nitin Nabin said that three new states, including Uttarakhand, were created during his tenure. He said that the BJP created Uttarakhand and that the party would now also undertake the task of developing and transforming the state.
The BJP president said that the “double-engine government” is working with determination for the development of Uttarakhand. He claimed that the BJP would form the government in the state again after the 2027 Assembly elections. He said the victory would not merely be about forming a government but would represent a victory for the BJP’s ideology and development agenda.
During the programme, Nitin Nabin also mentioned Neem Karoli Baba. He said that he wished to watch a film made on the revered saint. He expressed the hope that Baba’s blessings would continue to be showered upon the BJP and its workers.
