Dehradun: The number of devotees arriving for the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is constantly increasing. A sense of satisfaction is visible among the pilgrims regarding the travel arrangements. Following the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the yatra is being conducted with utmost vigilance and monitoring, keeping the safety of devotees as the top priority.
Mayor of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (Gujarat), Mira Patel, expressed gratitude to the Uttarakhand government and local administration for the support received during the three-day Mahavishnu Yagna organized at Badrinath Dham and during her visit to Kedarnath Dham.
In a thank-you letter sent to the Chief Minister, the Mayor stated that her family organized a three-day Mahavishnu Yagna at Badrinath Dham from September 6 to 8, 2026. Following this, a group of 188 pilgrims from Gujarat visited Kedarnath Dham for darshan. A large number of senior citizens were also part of the group.
She mentioned that with the cooperation of the Uttarakhand government, local administration, and concerned organizers, the devotees were able to have a smooth, safe, and well-organized darshan at both dhams. She described the support and warmth received during the journey as proof of Uttarakhand’s tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Guest is God).
Mira Patel added that the efforts being made by the state government and administration to provide better facilities to devotees coming from different states across the country are highly commendable. She prayed to Lord Badri-Kedar for Uttarakhand’s prosperity, peace, and continuous progress.
