Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers to Lord Dhanvantari at the Chief Minister’s residence on the occasion of Ayurveda Day on Wednesday. He prayed for the good health, happiness, and prosperity of the residents of the state.
The Chief Minister said that Ayurveda is an important part of India’s ancient knowledge tradition and rich heritage. Ayurveda plays a vital role in adopting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention.
He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ayurveda and India’s traditional medical systems are gaining new global recognition. Describing Ayurveda as an essential foundation for a healthy life, he stressed its conservation and propagation.
