Baba Ramdev Pays Courtesy Visit to CM Dhami

Dehradun: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. During the meeting, various issues related to the development of Uttarakhand, promotion of yoga and Ayurveda, and the state’s spiritual and cultural heritage were discussed.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is known not only as Devbhoomi but also as a land of yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy. He said that yoga and Ayurveda can help create new opportunities in healthcare, tourism, employment, and self-employment in the state. He added that Uttarakhand has immense potential for wellness, yoga, and Ayurveda-based tourism, and the government is continuously working to promote these sectors.

Baba Ramdev appreciated the efforts being made in Uttarakhand in the fields of yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy. He said that the state’s natural resources, Himalayan environment, and spiritual heritage make it well suited to being developed as a global centre for yoga and Ayurveda.
