Dehradun: Ahead of the Char Dham Yatra, the state government has assigned additional charge of CEO of the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) to the District Magistrate of Rudraprayag.
The position had been vacant after the deputation of former CEO Vijay Thapliyal ended. Meanwhile, the government is in the process of appointing a permanent CEO.
The Char Dham Yatra is set to begin on April 19. The portals of Kedarnath Dham will open on April 22, and Badrinath Dham on April 23. Considering the preparations, the DM has been given this responsibility temporarily.
