BJP Begins Preparations for 2027 Assembly Elections

Dehradun: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections by holding an organizational meeting at Kuwanwala, Dehradun.

The meeting focused on strengthening the party at the booth level, participating actively in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, and expanding door-to-door voter outreach.

National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and State BJP President Mahendra Bhatt urged party workers to reach every booth and every voter.

Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the “Jahan Kam, Wahan Hum” campaign and stressed ensuring that all eligible voters are included in the electoral rolls.

Mahendra Bhatt said the objective is to ensure no eligible voter is left out and no ineligible person is included in the voter list.

Former MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and Prakash Tanwar briefed party workers on the SIR process, booth-level preparations, and election strategy.

The meeting signaled that the BJP is now fully focused on organizational strengthening ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
