Dehradun: Chef Keshav Negi, a resident of Uttarakhand who is facing legal proceedings in connection with the hotel fire incident in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the support and sensitivity extended by the state government during the difficult period.
The Chief Minister enquired about Keshav Negi’s well-being and assured him that the state government stands firmly with him. He said the Uttarakhand government is committed to protecting the interests of every citizen of the state and that all possible assistance would be provided whenever required.
The Chief Minister said that in times of crisis, it is the government’s responsibility to boost the morale of its citizens and provide them with all possible assistance in accordance with the law. He directed officials to maintain the necessary coordination in such cases and ensure all possible support.
It may be recalled that CM Dhami had earlier spoken to Keshav Negi over the phone to enquire about his well-being and assure him of all possible assistance. The Chief Minister had also spoken to the Chief Minister of Delhi regarding the matter. Keshav Negi, along with his family, met the Chief Minister to express his gratitude for his intervention and support.
