Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav held at Shri Khatu Shyam Dham in Vikasnagar on Wednesday. He performed the ritualistic worship at the temple and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state.
Wishing the devotees on the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Baba Khatu Shyam, the Chief Minister said that Baba Shyam is a symbol of faith and belief and a support for the defeated, giving strength to every discouraged soul. Baba surely accepts prayers made with a true heart and showers his blessings on his devotees.
He said that the large crowds of devotees attending the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, bhajan-kirtan, and religious events are proof that Baba Shyam resides in the hearts of every devotee. This divine event will always be memorable for the devotees.
The Chief Minister said that by the grace of Baba Shyam, he has been given the opportunity to serve the people of the state and he will continue to serve with complete devotion and honesty as the Chief Servant. He said that for success in life, dedication along with skill is essential and all tasks are accomplished only with the grace of God.
He also mentioned the resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which the third decade of the 21st century was declared as the decade of Uttarakhand from Baba Kedarnath Dham. The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to achieve this goal.
MLA Munna Singh Chauhan, BJP District President Meeta Singh, Municipal Council President Neeru Devi, Kuldeep Kumar along with many public representatives and devotees were present in the program.
