Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Distributes Appointment Letters to 1035 Assistant Teachers

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday distributed appointment letters to 1035 assistant teachers (primary education) at the Government Doon Medical College, Patel Nagar, Dehradun.  This included 17 special education teachers. The Chief Minister congratulated all the candidates and expressed hope that these young teachers would play a significant role in improving the standard of education in the state. He said that from today, the important responsibility of shaping the future of Uttarakhand rests on their shoulders. When a child receives quality and value-based education, they not only improve their own life but also make an invaluable contribution to the development of society and the nation. Teachers are the architects of the country’s bright future.

The Chief Minister said that along with providing excellent education to children, they should also instill in them a sense of duty towards society, culture, and the nation, so that they become cultured and responsible citizens along with being educated. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working to make the state’s education system modern and of high quality. Comprehensive reforms are being implemented at every level, from strengthening the infrastructure of schools to digital education, teacher training, and skill development.

The Chief Minister said that in the last four and a half years, more than 28,000 young people have received government jobs in the state. This is not just a statistic, but a victory for the self-respect of our youth. The number of jobs given to young people in these four and a half years is more than double the number of jobs given during the period after the formation of the state and during the time of previous governments. He said that the government will not allow anyone to play with the future of the youth.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that in the last four and a half years, more than 11,500 appointments have been made in the education department. The recruitment process for more than 3,500 different posts is underway. Special attention is being paid to innovation in education in the state. On this occasion, Director General of Education Ms. Deepti Singh, Director Secondary Education Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, Director Primary Education Mr. Ajay Naudiyal, Director Academic Research and Training Ms. Vandana Garbyal, and Additional Director Ms. Kanchan Deorari were present.
