Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Yuva Shakti Samvad Conference as the chief guest at Gurukul Kangri University. He received a warm welcome from the students and interacted with them, answering questions on a wide range of topics.
Addressing the gathering, CM Dhami said the entire world is looking towards India with hope and confidence because it is the youngest nation in the world. He noted that nearly 65 percent of the country’s population is below the age of 35, making India’s demographic strength its greatest asset. He said that the youth are not only the future of the nation but also its present.
The Chief Minister said today’s young generation does not merely dream but has the determination to turn those dreams into reality. He added that today’s youth are transforming from job seekers into job creators through startups and innovation.
Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dhami said flagship initiatives such as Startup India, Stand-Up India, Make in India, Digital India, Skill India, and Khelo India have opened new avenues for young people. These programmes have created opportunities for entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and self-reliance for millions of youth.
He further said that Indian youth are making the country proud by showcasing their talent on the global stage in fields such as science, technology, sports, industry, research, and innovation.
