Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial sanctions worth ₹29.10 crore for various infrastructure development, drinking water supply, and public utility projects across several districts of the state. The Chief Minister directed departmental officials to ensure that approved projects are implemented with quality and within the stipulated timelines so that the public can benefit from them.
Under the Housing Department, the Chief Minister approved administrative and financial sanction of ₹48.82 crore for the construction of a multi-storey parking facility at Neelkanth in Pauri Garhwal district and released the first installment of ₹19.53 crore.
He also approved ₹1.36 crore for installing 38 India Mark-II hand pumps in various gram panchayats and villages under Someshwar Assembly constituency in Almora district, along with a first installment of ₹50 lakh.
For the Hindolakhal Pumping Drinking Water Scheme in Tehri Garhwal district, administrative and financial sanction of ₹9.73 crore was approved for procuring energy-efficient pumps, with ₹3.89 crore released as the first installment.
The Chief Minister also approved ₹9.81 crore for the construction of Devbhoomi Silver Jubilee Park in Ward Neda Baste under Pithoragarh Municipal Corporation and sanctioned ₹3.21 crore for 10 temporary repair works proposed by the Drinking Water Resources Development and Construction Corporation under Kumbh Mela 2027.
CM Dhami said that the state government is continuously working toward strengthening infrastructure and public amenities. Timely implementation of development projects will directly benefit the people and accelerate regional development.
