Pithoragarh: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the annual function of LSM Campus in Pithoragarh. During the event, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several development projects. He later addressed the students.
The Chief Minister said that the government enacted a strong anti-cheating law to ensure that students’ hard work succeeds. He said the government has sent those involved in cheating rackets behind bars, adding that even on this issue the opposition is doing politics.
He stated that the government is committed to providing jobs to the youth of the state. This is why more than 20,000 young people have been given government jobs over the last five years.
He also said that LSM Campus is playing an important role in providing quality education to students in the border district. The government, he added, will take every possible step for the development of the campus.
