Dehradun/West Bengal. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday launched the ‘Parivartan Yatra’ from the Hingalganj Assembly constituency in North 24 Parganas district during his visit to West Bengal. A large number of people attended the public meeting and roadshow organized on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dhami reaffirmed his commitment to Sanatan values. He said that a person who believes in Sanatan traditions never lives in fear and always stands for truth and national interest. His statement received strong support from the audience.
The Chief Minister also criticized the government led by Mamata Banerjee, alleging that politics of appeasement has been encouraged in West Bengal. He said that instead of providing employment and opportunities to youth, there is a growing tendency to make them dependent on allowances, which adversely affects their future.
Raising concerns about law and order, Dhami claimed that incidents of crime and unrest are increasing in the state and women do not feel safe. He also alleged that government employees are not receiving their rights on time and issues like dearness allowance have remained pending for a long period.
He also questioned the state’s education system, stating that several schools have been shut down, which could negatively impact the future of the coming generations. In addition, he described illegal infiltration from across the border as a serious issue and demanded clear action from the state government.
Dhami said that the Bharatiya Janata Party aims to establish good governance, security, and development in West Bengal. He expressed confidence that if the BJP forms the government in the state, the current situation of disorder will end and a new phase of development will begin.
He further added that for the BJP, “Nation First” is the highest principle, and the party works with this spirit for the country’s development and service to society.
