CM Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of Doon Hospital late at night, taking feedback on arrangements from patients and attendants

Dehradun: To improve the state’s healthcare system, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of the Government Doon Medical College Hospital late Wednesday night. The Chief Minister’s sudden arrival created a stir within the hospital administration, and the arrangements immediately escalated.

The Chief Minister closely inspected the emergency room, various wards, medicine distribution centers, sanitation facilities, and the healthcare facilities being provided to patients. During this visit, he directly interacted with hospitalized patients and their attendants and took feedback on treatment, availability of medicines, diagnostic services, and other arrangements.

While interacting with the patients, the Chief Minister stated that the state government’s goal is to provide timely, accessible, and quality healthcare services to every citizen. He gave clear instructions to officials that any negligence in hospital cleanliness, availability of medicines, presence of medical staff, and diagnostic services will not be tolerated.

The Chief Minister also directed the hospital administration to exercise special vigilance in the treatment of critical patients and to provide timely, necessary information to attendants. He stated that it is the government’s priority to ensure that the facilities in government hospitals are as reliable and reliable as those in private hospitals.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is continuously expanding resources to further strengthen healthcare services and will ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience. Doctors and related officials from Doon Medical College Hospital were present during the inspection.
