CM Dhami Grants Financial Approval of Nearly ₹7 Crore for Various Development Works

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial sanctions worth nearly ₹7 crore for roads, connectivity routes, temple beautification, community facilities and other construction works across various districts of Uttarakhand. The approved projects will be carried out in different areas of Pithoragarh, Champawat, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Almora and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

An amount of ₹8.93 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of the Moti Marg entrance gate on the Aincholi-Jakh motor road in the Pithoragarh Assembly constituency. In Champawat Assembly constituency, ₹40.53 lakh has been approved for the construction of a link road from Selagarh to Kotkendri. Another ₹52.06 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of an RCC paved road with railings from the main road to the Heavy Kemer village Dabra Pani hamlet in Pulia Name Panchayat, Khadikhala, under the New Tehri Assembly constituency.

An amount of ₹97.09 lakh has been approved for various development works at Dhwaj Jayanti Mata Temple in Pithoragarh, including accommodation, drinking water facilities, toilets and road construction for the convenience of devotees. Meanwhile, ₹1.79 crore has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Shri Rudreshwar Maharaj Temple, the revered deity of the Rawain Valley, located in Billa Naugaon of Naugaon block in the Purola Assembly constituency of Uttarkashi.

An amount of ₹98.80 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of Malli Manila Temple in the Salt Assembly constituency of Almora, while ₹98.50 lakh has been approved for the beautification of Bheemadevi Temple at Bhetabadoli in Dhaula Devi block of the Jageshwar Assembly constituency.

In Ram Bagh, Haripura and Panchananpur of the Gadarpur Assembly constituency in Udham Singh Nagar, ₹2.54 crore has been approved for temple and dharamshala construction as well as pond-related works. In the Didihat Assembly constituency of Pithoragarh, ₹79.87 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a concrete cement (CC) link road from Sird to Naghgar Inter College.

An amount of ₹3.89 crore has been approved for constructing internal roads in Mairoli village and internal roads in Badpas Gram Panchayat using interlocking tiles in the Champawat Assembly constituency. Approval has also been given for the release of the first instalment of funds under various schemes as per the prescribed procedure.

Statue of Freedom Fighter Kalyan Singh Adhikari to Be Installed

The Chief Minister has also approved ₹32.49 lakh for installing a statue in honour of late freedom fighter Kalyan Singh Adhikari in Barakot block of the Lohaghat Assembly constituency in Champawat district.
