Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met members of the public and elected representatives at the Camp Office near Lohiyahead Helipad in Khatima on Saturday and listened to their grievances. He directed the concerned officials to ensure prompt, transparent, and quality-based disposal of all complaints on a priority basis.
The Chief Minister said public service is the government’s primary objective and that the timely resolution of citizens’ grievances remains one of the state’s highest priorities. He instructed officials to examine every complaint with sensitivity and provide effective solutions so that people do not have to make repeated visits to government offices.
CM Dhami said the government is working on the principles of Simplification, Solution, and Satisfaction. He added that governance can be considered truly accountable only when citizens receive timely and satisfactory solutions to their problems. He also discussed local development requirements with public representatives and assured them that development works would be expedited.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister distributed 77 assistive devices to 27 persons with disabilities and 113 assistive devices to 22 senior citizens under various social welfare schemes. These included 11 battery-operated rickshaws, 14 wheelchairs, 18 commode chairs, 6 tricycles, 24 hearing aids, 40 knee braces, crutches, walkers, walking sticks, silicone cushions, and CP chairs.
Under the Gramotthan REAP Scheme, keys of Bolero vehicles were handed over to Nari Shakti Gram Sangathan Gadarpur and Satyamev Jayate CLF Bazpur, while Ekta CLF Gadarpur received a food van.
The programme was attended by Minister of State Anil Kapoor Dabbu, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, SSP Ajay Ganpati, Chief Development Officer Divesh Shasni, and other public representatives and officials.
