CM Dhami Inaugurates Anand Dharamshala, Speaks on Kumbh and Char Dham Yatra

Dehradun/Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a dharamshala built by the Shri Anand Dharamshala Trust in Haridwar. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the Kshatriya Kalauta community has always played an important role in nation-building through hard work, courage, and values.

He said that people from the community have contributed significantly in agriculture, trade, education, social service, and national security. He added that brave members of the community are strengthening the country’s borders and internal security by serving in the Indian Army, CRPF, and other security forces.

Praising the Shri Anand Dharamshala Trust, the Chief Minister said that the dharamshala symbolizes service, dedication, and philanthropy. He said that constructing accommodation facilities for pilgrims is a noble task and would prove useful for lakhs of devotees during the upcoming Kumbh and Char Dham Yatra.

The Chief Minister described Haridwar as the gateway to India’s spiritual consciousness and Sanatan culture, where devotees from across the country and abroad experience faith and spiritual energy in the lap of the Ganga.

He said that preparations are being carried out rapidly under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the 2027 Haridwar Kumbh grand, divine, and safe. Large-scale work is underway for the restoration of ghats, road systems, sanitation, traffic management, and other basic facilities.

CM Dhami also highlighted projects such as the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kedarnath and Badrinath redevelopment, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Mahakal Lok, stating that redevelopment and beautification work in the Kedarkhand and Manaskhand regions of Uttarakhand is progressing continuously.

He reiterated that the state government is committed to protecting Uttarakhand’s cultural identity, Sanatan values, and social harmony. He also mentioned the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the state as a historic step toward ensuring equal rights and justice for all citizens.

The Chief Minister said that the government remains committed to maintaining law and order and social harmony. Instructions have been issued to hold religious events only at designated places so that the public does not face inconvenience.

Expressing confidence, he said that just as the Ganga provides faith, peace, and energy to millions of devotees, the Shri Anand Dharamshala would also become an important center of service and support for pilgrims and needy people in the future.

The event was attended by Mahamandaleshwar Hari Chetna Nand Maharaj, Madhya Pradesh minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Vinay Rohila, Vishal Patel, Ashutosh Sharma, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, SSP Haridwar Navneet Singh Bhullar, along with a large number of devotees and trust members.
