Badrinath: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection of development works under the Badrinath Master Plan. He reviewed the progress, quality, and timelines closely and issued necessary directions to officials on the spot.
He said that all development works related to Badrinath should be completed within the निर्धारित timeframe under the direct supervision of the District Magistrate, ensuring high quality. He emphasized that this is not just a construction project but an important mission linked to faith, devotion, and Uttarakhand’s cultural identity, and no negligence will be tolerated.
Review of completed works
During the inspection, he also reviewed completed projects such as the BRO bypass road, loop road, lake, ISBT, civic amenity building, TICC, and arrival plaza. He directed officials to ensure early handover of these projects so that pilgrims can benefit from them soon.
He stressed that the handover process should be simple, transparent, and time-bound, and also directed preparation of a solid plan for operation and maintenance.
Pilgrim सुविधा remains top priority
He said the aim of these projects is not just infrastructure development but providing a safe, व्यवस्थित, and modern pilgrimage experience. He directed regular monitoring and periodic review of all projects.
Focus on environmental conservation
The Chief Minister instructed construction agencies to work in accordance with cleanliness, green standards, and principles of sustainable development. He emphasized that preserving the sanctity and natural beauty of Badrinath is the government’s top priority.
He expressed confidence that with coordinated efforts of all departments, the Master Plan will be completed on time, and Badrinath will emerge as a world-class pilgrimage destination for devotees from India and abroad.
